Every pickup is built with the highest quality components and in small batches to insure the absolute best results. All coils are wound by hand guiding the wire onto a bobbin spun by machine. By paying close attention to the details and building pickups with the same care and passion as the legends themselves who invented them, Pegcity Pickups will provide you with the tonal foundation that will deliver years of love and enjoyment on your guitar journey.

These are my third set of Pegcity Pickups. Royal Flush Alnico 3 P90's in raw nickel Casino covers. They look great but more importantly, they sound fantastic. Clear, and articulate, They shine through on my mid 60's Harmony amp as well as they do in my SimplifierX wet dry rig. The guitar has gone from a novelty to a serious contender for my #1. Once again Kris knocks it out of the park!
Kris was fabulous to deal with. Very quick to respond, and provided me a great pickup for my strange project. The pickup is articulate and cuts through just like I had hoped. Thanks Kris. I’m absolutely thrilled with the P90s (Alnico 3, 5% underwound). They sound better than the ones on my 1964 Gibson ES-125, clear and transparent, with brilliant highs, but never shrill. Exactly what I’ve been looking for.
Installed these in an HSS Strat with a PegCity Superclutch and they pair so amazingly well and sound great live or in a studio. Killer products and stellar service!
I purchased a Angry Widows bridge humbucker and got it installed on a S by Solar TB4.61C. It’s sounds amazing! It holds up to any of the other well known makers. I highly recommend this brand. Thumbs up Pegcity Pickups! Buy Canadian!
Ordered a new set of pickups for a new build and wasn't sure which way to go so i e-mail Kris with a few questions. He was a great help and the pickups look absolutely amazing cant wait to get them installed and see how they sing.
I’ve always liked my PRS CE 24, but I never loved it. I even got very close to trading it away for a Les Paul.
But I always loved the sound of a JB in a mahogany body guitar…but I wanted a Canadian alternative.
So I contacted PegCity and they recommended the SuperClutch A2 HotMod.
I’ve been playing them solid for a week and in multiple rehearsals and even the other guys in the band have noticed the tone upgrade.
Thanks PegCity….no way am I getting rid of this guitar now!

Rewinds/Repairs
Free estimates on repairs. Rewind prices will very. Single coil pickups will range from $45-$60 depending on the style and work involved.
Humbuckers will range from $60-$90 dollars.
For basic repairs (when not rewinding) Price is $30/hr shop rate plus $10 flat rate for materials. All pickups are rewound and repaired with period correct materials in order to bring them back to their original state maybe even better :) For information on your repairs and how we can assist you please email kris@pegcitypickups.com

Coli split or Partial split and which one to use.
Due to the demand for tonal flexibility. Wiring humbuckers to split the coils in an attempt to achieve a single coil tone has become the standard. The truth is a humbucker with lower output (below 10.0k) when split can produce a weaker sound thats lower in volume. By adding a small resistor into the circuit inline with the wire that links the splitting pot to the ground, will allow some of the signal from the split coil to leak through boosting the overall signal just enough. The partial split will result in a very comparative single coil tone that retains its volume and presence. We recommend this mod for lower output humbuckers but it is not absolutely necessary. Look for it in the addons tab on the humbucker pages.
