The Pegcity P90 replacement pickups are built using modern materials with the basics in mind when it comes to voicing them. The neck position pickup was voiced first. Clear and harmonically rich with a sweet bell tone. The bridge was then calibrated to blend with the neck but still stand tall on its own. Powerful, punchy with spanky highs and the famous growl that everyone wants from a P90 pickup.

Soap bar, Dog ear, and for humbucker routed guitars check out our Humbucker size P90.

Features:

42awg Polyurethane coated wire

Output Neck 7.4k, Bridge 8.4k

Magnet: Alnico 5 for traditional and modern tone. Alnico 3 for vintage tone

RWRP for hum cancelling

Wax potted for squeal free operation.

I got these pickups for a project I was working on and it turned out great!

The Voice from My Dreams

These P90s are exactly the pipes my guitar wanted. The 5% overwind worked as intended: they are full and throaty with a woody snap. Superb.

Pickup de qualité!

J'aime l'idée que le pickup est fait à la main et au Canada, ça lui donne un côté unique. Ce P90 a tout un twang qui lui donne un son vintage que je recherchais. Je recommande ce pickup!

Absolutely Great!

Just finished my build today and finally got to plug her in! Wow!!! Just... wow!!! Following a discussion with Kris about tones and playing style, I went with a traditional wind, Alnico II dog ear P90, and this thing SINGS! 50's style wiring with 500k pots and an Emerson .22 cap, it can be bright and brash, or delicate and subtle, and every tone sounds great. The low end is bright and present, mids are even and musical, and the top end can go from bell-like or glassy to extreme. 10/10, would Peg City again! Thanks Kris!
