Kris was more than helpfull in selecting the right pickup for me. Lots of patience for dumb questions and speedy work and shipping. I would recommend him to anyone…great guy to work with.
I have a PRS Swamp Ash Special SE in Charcoal that needed something more for it's tone. Talking with Kris and which way to go with pickups, he suggested Superclutches with a Texas Stack in the middle... I got them with Black radiator covers for the Supers and a chrome ring for the middle... the guitar looks awesome!
Now the tone... this mix sound phenomenally better than what was there before... I ran them through a Revv G50 and a Revv D25.... I lost track of time with the sounds I was getting... I threw some dirt infront and i just sat and played... not wanting to stop...Truly Kris is a wizard with the pickups because how else can tones like that come out of this combo... Kris, thank you from the bottom of my heart...
I installed this bridge pickup in an American deluxe fender Strat. I found the original pickup to be too thin. Tried a hot rail but that was too much bass and output for my tastes. Found Peg City pickups online and liked the price. I also wanted to proudly buy Canadian. This new pickup is really great. A lot thicker than the original and has more output. I use a lot of high gain amp tones and really like how it interacts. Lots of brightness when I need it and also able to get a nice thick tone by backing off on the tone a touch. Sounds great clean too. I definitely consider this handmade pickup an upgrade.
Installed these on my 2024 Les Paul Standard, these are fantastic pickups and sound great for blues and blues rock. I ordered the uncovered double creams and man they look good. Will definitely order from Pegcity again
Kris and I decided on the Private Stock bridge pickup for a custom built guitar from luthier Steve J. Mash. Sort of a Melody Maker shape with a 25" scale, humbucker in bridge, tulipwood body, maple neck. The Private Stock bridge is a very versatile, dynamic pickup usable in a range of styles. Chose a black uncovered pickup, I'm most pleased with its versatility.
This is paired with a custom neck pickup, a unique design from Pegcity. To match the timbre, no hum, and power of the bridge, Kris built a stacked magnet single-coil sized design for this position. So, it's noiseless and pairs super well with bridge.
A great solution and a wide range of sounds available c/o a basic 1 volume, 1 tone, and a 3-way switch.

Just installed a set of Classic 59’s into an Epiphone Sheraton ii. What an upgrade! These pickups look and sound incredible! When chording there is remarkable note clarity across all the strings and single notes sing and cut through the mix. They are also very pick sensitive and clean up nicely when the volume is rolled back. I’ve always liked this guitar but now I love it, it just sounds huge! Thanks Kris! Great communication, easy to order, amazing build quality and fast shipping! I feel like I will be ordering a Peg City strat set in the future!

I recently added a Fatboy Special neck pickup to one of my main guitars, and was blown away by its clarity and silky smooth sound. On high gain its crystal clear and articulate, on clean it has a beautiful presence and projection. Highly suggested to anyone who values a well rounded, clean neck tone!

I've been playing guitar for 30yrs. Playing heavy metal for over 20yrs and I can honestly say I have never felt such a substantial difference in a pick up swap......until I installed a set of Widows. I replaced an EMG 81/85 set with Angry Widows and was instantly blown away by how organic, articulate and more defined my tone was. So then I swapped out a Seymour Duncan Full Shred and JB set for some Angry Widows and it was the same result, my tone took a step in the direction I wanted, but the EMGs and Duncan's just continually fell short no matter what combination. The support, sales and relationship I now have with Peg City is something you just can't get with big manufacturers. Don't think twice, you might miss out on your perfect tone

Love my new Classic 59’s
The Classic 59’s were an excellent set of pickups for my Les Paul kit build. They sound great! You get all of the tones and responsiveness you would expect from PAF. Highly recommend if you are looking to get that classic PAF sound without breaking the bank. I can't wait to start my next Pegcity pickup powered project!
