The EC-431 pickup is an absolute workhorse! When only one pickup is in your guitar you need it to be very diverse and dynamic in order to suit all situations. The EC-431 pickup is exactly what you are looking for. Loud, dynamic, responsive with serious muscle to push your amp hard or dial back to clean up beautifully.

A fantastic choice for Blues, Rock, and Country rock. The slightly exaggerated midrange adds some serious punch.

42awg polyurethane coated wire

Alnico 5 magnets

Vintage cloth lead wire

Wound hot 9.2k

Wax potted for squeal free operation

EC-431 is just the tip of the iceberg

I have to start by saying that Kris and Pegcity Pickups are one fantastic company to work with.

I have a Schecter PT Special. The bridge pickup was very anemic so I was looking for a way to want to play this guitar. I found Pegcity Pickups and landed on the EC-431. With talking with Kris, I found that he truly knows his stuff with tone. I decided to have Pegcity replace both Pickups so that they were matching and voiced properly together. Kris wound a matching P90...

This guitar, I cannot put it down now... the neck pickup(P90) has that mellow, rounded tone built for the lower register while the EC-431 has that beautiful tele twang. There is no volume drop between the two which makes switching simple...

You would think that is the end... Kris somehow worked his mojo because when I combined the two Pickups either by serial or parallel (this guitar can do that), that is where the magic happens because they blend so well... I lost track of time and I tried a couple of different amps to see any change and the Pickups just adapted and kept that MOJO going...

Kris... thank you.

You are right... I want to miss work just to keep playing...

Awesome pickups and advice!

Reached out to peg city pickups for some advice on a recent tele style build I finished. Recommended the EC-341 and a vintage wound p90 for the neck. Super happy with the build quality and sound is amazing. They do exactly what he said they would. Super happy, will be ordering for the next build soon.

Just received this pickup, & immediately went to swapping out the very hot tele pickup i had in my built esquire. & by the almighty punk gods, this pickup sings! Touch sensitive, very dynamic, even able to keep the volume on full, & just lightly pick it cleans up nicely. Can send my amp into overdrive without having insane amounts of gain. I couldn't have asked for a better pickup, & Kris is insanely helpful & insightful. Proud Canadian boy here, it's great to have a canadian product! If you're looking for a tele bridge pickup that can handle being on its own in a guitar, & bounce within every genre, this is the one!

Wow !

I really like my new ec-431 pickup, installed it i my esquire and did the eldred mod using 0.0047uf tone capcitor at the switch and Now my esquire is my #1 axe .that pickup is very versatile and i love the dynamic and its is very articulated and well balance you can go from clean To dirty tone by just rolling the volume if you like twangny stuff it Will do it no problem i am not a jazz player but this pickup can do it to. But for me its' when the amp start To break up and you get those great 70/80 dirty overdrive tone . Great pickup Thank's Pegcity

Esquire Pickups

I built myself a lovely, buttercream esquire project - and needed a really great pickup for the bridge..with just one pickup, it needed to be strong and verstile. The EC-431 met this need with spades. It’s a really rich sound and really pushes the various different tones when I change my playing style for different moods. With the Eldridge wiring, this thing really rocks!! Thank you Peg City! 👌
