Our signature Little Bucks mini humbuckers are wound to give full and clear tone. Slightly hotter than the old Gibson version, with Alnico 5 magnets these Little Bucks deliver a tight and aggressive sound with a more modern voicing. Who says big things can't fit in small packages?

Cover options for Mini Humbuckers are limited to the Nickel plated, Gold Plated, Chrome Plated. Other options are custom and will add to build time.

Little Bucks neck (A4)

Installed this pickup in the neck of a 1978 Les Paul Deluxe - bridge routed for a full-sized humbucker, but neck still original mini-humbucker route. A heavy but very stable guitar with a maple over mahogany neck (rosewood 'board), not uncommon for the era. Bit tricky to pair the mini with a full-size pickup, but Kris/Pegcity suggested a most musical, complimentary match. My Little Bucks neck is 7.0k output and 3.7h inductance using an A4 magnet as recommended (pots now 500k, over original 300k). Coil wire 42 awg poly coat, nickel cover. It's a beautiful sounding pickup - most responsive to volume/tone settings, warm and jazzy on clean sounds, vocal and expressive with overdriven timbres, pairs well in middle toggle position. Really highlights the versatile voice of this old school dual humbucker instrument (see my 2-Stroke bridge review). Couldn't be more pleased.

This is my second M.B. Bridge pup from Kris. Outstanding as always. Sound quality is amazing, clear, sharp and well rounded. If you’re looking for a pup set to spice up your Tele, these are the ones!!

2 stroke humbucker

I’ve been hearing lots of great things about Kris and his Pegcity Pickups, I finally picked up the 2 stroke humbucker and it was great dealing with Kris. Very professional and prompt. I haven’t installed it yet but excited about getting my Strat the tone I’ve been looking for. I’m looking forward to having another option for my customers rather than going with the generic Duncan or Dimarzio pickups. This is also the best packaging for a pickup that I’ve ever seen.

Great pickups

A great set of pickups that Kris made for me. A tele bridge and PAF neck that went into a Thin line T-style guitar. They are so articulate and blend amazingly well. The guitar really came to life and now I can't put it down. Excellent quality and amazing customer service. I'll be buying more from Peg City in the near future.

Great!

I’ve ordered from Kris before and like last time the pickups arrived quickly and well packed. Installed as easily as any other pickups. I went for these because I wanted low output, flat pole piece single coils and these fit the bill for a very good price compared to the other companies out there. Not sure how well it comes off in recordings but the g string no longer ice picks my ear drums. No regrets, would buy again.
