Our SMB-1 mini humbuckers are designed to bring you back to the 60's when Gibson wanted more of a single coil sounding pickup that could still buck the old hum. With a hand guided coil and Alnico 2 magnet these will come on clean and clear with a bit more sparkle than a full size humbucker. The output is in the lower range to provide more top end clarity.

Great Upgrade

I decided to give this mini humbucker a try and glad I did. Sounds great in my thin line tele that I modded.

I picked up the SMB-1 a few months back for a Telecaster project, and I gotta say, I'm super stoked about it. I put the SMB-1 on the neck and paired it with a Fender American Vintage '62 Custom in the bridge, and man, it sounds like magic!

I used to mainly stick with my regular Tele's bridge pickup, but with this new setup, everything's changed. It's perfect for those clean, crisp tones, as well as when you wanna crank it up with some sweet overdrive. I seriously can't recommend this pickup enough. It's a game-changer!
