Our Vintage voiced Stratocaster single coils are built to bring you that Late 50's and 60's sound. Hand wound with Heavy Formvar wire using Alnico 5 magnets to delivery that airy and spanky Stratocaster tone loved by many. The magnets have the early 60"s stagger. The output is calibrated providing perfect volume and tonal balance between all three. These are a definite favourite of mine and our top selling model.

Features:

42awg Heavy Formvar

Neck output: 6.2k

Middle output: 6.2k

Bridge output: 6.5k

RWRP middle pickup for hum cancelling

Wax potted for squeal free operation

Choose the No Cover option if you want to use your own covers. This is common as many players strat covers are aged with the instrument keeping the look the same.

VS61 with a private stock humbucking

I upgraded a T style guitar that had a H/S/S with a VS61 neck, and middle, and a private stock humbucking in the bridge, with a 5 way switch. I have played the guitar daily for about a week, liking it more each time I pick it up. The single coils are bright, articulate, and very vintage sounding. The 2 and 4 positions have the spongey mid scoop sound. The humbucking is awesome, a little hotter, really big sounding. The combination with the single coils is really versatile, and every pickup position sounds great. Great pickups!!! You should buy some!

What a great experience...

The prompt attention to my order, the absolutely excellent packaging, and I mean excellent, were all top notch. The pickup I ordered, which was the vintage strat bridge pickup, is, in my humble opinion, the hardest pickup to sound good of any guitar anywhere, actually now sounds good! I would wholeheartedly recommend this company, and while I've only tried this one product, I will definintely be back. Plus, I wanted to buy Canadian, so that's just an added bonus. Thanks guys.

Peg City nailed it!

These strat pickups are perfect. Nicely balanced, good output, well finished, and no stratitis! I'm very happy to see high quality pickups being made in Canada. I used to be a Lollar guy, but now I'm a Peg City guy!

VS-61 (Vintage Strat style) Bridge & Neck

I have 3 Strats , one with stacked hum buckers and one with custom shop single coils , changing the pickups out of the 3rd Strat and installing the neck and bridge VS-61 (Vintage Strat style) was well worth doing . The tone and response is really enjoyable . The bridge pickup has a nice amount of forward midrange with the top end cutting just right , I would say that's where the feeling of nice dynamic response is coming from . The neck pickup is stellar , one of the best neck pickups I've ever tried ..... and I've tried a bunch . These pickups are 1st class .
