Little Bucks (Mini Humbucking)

Installed this pickup in the neck of a 1978 Les Paul Deluxe - bridge routed for a full-sized humbucker, but neck still original mini-humbucker route. A heavy but very stable guitar with a maple over mahogany neck (rosewood 'board), not uncommon for the era. Bit tricky to pair the mini with a full-size pickup, but Kris/Pegcity suggested a most musical, complimentary match. My Little Bucks neck is 7.0k output and 3.7h inductance using an A4 magnet as recommended (pots now 500k, over original 300k). Coil wire 42 awg poly coat, nickel cover. It's a beautiful sounding pickup - most responsive to volume/tone settings, warm and jazzy on clean sounds, vocal and expressive with overdriven timbres, pairs well in middle toggle position. Really highlights the versatile voice of this old school dual humbucker instrument (see my 2-Stroke bridge review). Couldn't be more pleased.
