In collaboration with a really kickass client and awesome guitar player Rob Bergman, we bring you the SuperClutch humbucker set. Rob set out to achieve a real versatile, dynamic and all around tone monster! No matter how you drive this pickup it preforms beautifully all the time! The bridge is voiced to Rob's hard rock style of play, delivering powerful punchy tone with a thick but not over the top midrange, lyrical and dynamic with so much range of tone it will make your head spin! The neck voicing is calibrated perfectly with the bridge pickup, but also delivers an angelic, smooth and beautiful tone of its own to further expand the tonal range you have to work with. Both of the pickups in this set respond amazingly to any players style. Roll off the volume and they clean up beautifully, almost magically even. Don't hesitate this set will rock your world!!!

The standard bridge pickup in the set has an evil cousin  that can be swapped in to achieve slightly thicker, creamier tone for those looking to fatten up the bridge pickup just a bit more without sacrificing dynamics and clarity. The higher output adds some much needed mid frequencies to the scooped alnico 2 sound for a full smooth and classic sound. Choose The Alnico 2 Hot Mod in the options above to make the switch.

Ok so here’s the rub. This is  the third name applied to this pickup set. The first name Supernauts sadly was taken so we had to change. The quick response was Supernova. But we didn’t think that truly fit the voice. Rob and I spoke more and settled on SuperClutch. Same amazing pickup just a slightly different name. Thanks for understanding and Enjoy!!!!

Exactly what I needed

I’ve always liked my PRS CE 24, but I never loved it. I even got very close to trading it away for a Les Paul.
But I always loved the sound of a JB in a mahogany body guitar…but I wanted a Canadian alternative.
So I contacted PegCity and they recommended the SuperClutch A2 HotMod.
I’ve been playing them solid for a week and in multiple rehearsals and even the other guys in the band have noticed the tone upgrade.
Thanks PegCity….no way am I getting rid of this guitar now!

I really like how the Superclutch stays clear witn my 2025 Gibson Sg replacing the 61 Bursbucker in the bridge when throwing a good amount of gain coming out of my Splawn Street Rod

Great Sound

I installed this pup in the bridge position of an Epiphone LP custom as part of a mod-project. The Superclutch is tight, snappy, and really has a great, clear sound, with lots of punch. 5 stars all the way!

Superclutch indeed

I have these pickups installed on a HH guitar with a 10-way switch and all of the different pickup position sound great.
For metal, I use the bridge and neck with volume and tone on 10.
For crunch, I use any position with volume at around 5 and tone at 8.
For clean, I use any position with volume on around 2 and tone at 8.
Everything sounds great !

Amazing tone mix

I have a PRS Swamp Ash Special SE in Charcoal that needed something more for it's tone. Talking with Kris and which way to go with pickups, he suggested Superclutches with a Texas Stack in the middle... I got them with Black radiator covers for the Supers and a chrome ring for the middle... the guitar looks awesome!

Now the tone... this mix sound phenomenally better than what was there before... I ran them through a Revv G50 and a Revv D25.... I lost track of time with the sounds I was getting... I threw some dirt infront and i just sat and played... not wanting to stop...Truly Kris is a wizard with the pickups because how else can tones like that come out of this combo... Kris, thank you from the bottom of my heart...
