Our Vintage voiced Stratocaster single coils are built to bring you that Late 50's and 60's sound. Hand wound with Heavy Formvar wire using Alnico 5 magnets to delivery that airy and spanky Stratocaster tone loved by many. The magnets have the early 60"s stagger. The output is calibrated providing perfect volume and tonal balance between all three. These are a definite favourite of mine and our top selling model.

Choose the No Cover option if you want to use your own covers. This is common as many players strat covers are aged with the instrument keeping the look the same.

Fantastic pickups!

I've been modding and building guitars for just over ten years and have tried many different pickup manufacturers. For obvious reasons I wanted to find a quality product that was made in Canada and that's when I discovered Pegcity. The set of VS-61's I purchased for my latest build arrived sooner than the estimated date and I couldn't be happier with their performance! I had a set of Wilkinson hot wounds installed as a place holder and these blow them away, the articulation and clarity across the whole volume sweep is amazing! I also have a set of Fender noiseless Gen 4's in another Strat I own that sound nice but I haven't even touched it since installing these. I will definitely be choosing Pegcity for any future projects!

Really Great Pickups

Used these to replace the pickups in my favorite old Chinese Strat, now it sounds as great as it plays. Way less noisy than the stock pickups and they have an amazing timbre, it's probably my best sounding guitar now. Customer service was excellent, and they set me up with some pickup covers that look amazing. Recommend highly and will be using Pegcity for any future pickup swaps.

Surprised and very pleased

I actually expected to get staggered poles on this middle strat pickup, but was delighted to discover that the flush poles that I ended up with have a better balance and volume than my bridge and neck pickups. Also, to my ears the wax potting adds thickness to the sound that my other pickups lack. They are SD vintage strat pups.
So bottom line the Pegcity pup sounds thicker and has such great tone that I have ordered the bridge and neck pups to complete the set. Very solid construction and great sound!

These VS-61s are awesome!

Just installed these VS-61s (set of 3) in my vintage Strat. These pickups are absolutely outstanding! Installation was very easy (dropped right in) and they are way quieter (less hum) and sound much better than my previous pickups. Very high quality. For classic rock/blues etc., these pickups nail the tone and feel! I can see why these are so popular! Thanks again to Kris for all his help determining the best pickups for my needs and the great build quality. Pegcity is my new go to for pickups! Highly recommend!

Vintage Winds

I love the A3 Magnet vintage wind P90s Kris made for me. I find them similar to the set in my MIJ Revolution Casino. Amazing! Lots of mlvintage tone, lovely highs and mids. The neck pickup is just killer.

Finally happy with an LP sound!

Installed a bare set of 66ers (black/red) in my Epi LP standard, and I can now finally rest with an amazing LP sound. I doubt I will ever play a real 50-60's LP, but I can imagine that mine now sounds just like one...delusional maybe, but the tone search has ended. Open, clear, bright but not harsh, even a bridge sound that I love, which is rare...not too heavy on the mids, just perfectly weighty, clean is round and lovely, and they take overdrive soooo well. It is all I've played since I put them in. Build quality is stellar. I like them a lot, thanks so much!

Perfect for the modern worship sound

These pickups have a great full sound that interact really well with wet effects. They drive really nicely too. They're lower output, as expected, so they need a bit more gain going into an amp or modeler than traditional pickups, but they sound wonderful clean, or pushing a dirty amp.

I'm using them with either a Matchless Spitfire or a tonex with a spitfire model depending on room volume needs and these are spectacular with either.

The bridge pickup is particularly great. You can't go wrong with this set.

Rawness revided

I have here a Squire Esquire whose pick-up the certain something was missing.
The PegCity Pick-up has revived the rawness.

This thing rocks.

High output, clear differentiation of the strings and just a great sound.

The conversion is simple, as long as you can solder cables.

The price is absolutely fair for what you get.
