VS-61 (Vintage Strat style)

Great pickups. They sound incredible.

Used these to replace the pickups in my favorite old Chinese Strat, now it sounds as great as it plays. Way less noisy than the stock pickups and they have an amazing timbre, it's probably my best sounding guitar now. Customer service was excellent, and they set me up with some pickup covers that look amazing. Recommend highly and will be using Pegcity for any future pickup swaps.

I actually expected to get staggered poles on this middle strat pickup, but was delighted to discover that the flush poles that I ended up with have a better balance and volume than my bridge and neck pickups. Also, to my ears the wax potting adds thickness to the sound that my other pickups lack. They are SD vintage strat pups.
So bottom line the Pegcity pup sounds thicker and has such great tone that I have ordered the bridge and neck pups to complete the set. Very solid construction and great sound!

Just installed these VS-61s (set of 3) in my vintage Strat. These pickups are absolutely outstanding! Installation was very easy (dropped right in) and they are way quieter (less hum) and sound much better than my previous pickups. Very high quality. For classic rock/blues etc., these pickups nail the tone and feel! I can see why these are so popular! Thanks again to Kris for all his help determining the best pickups for my needs and the great build quality. Pegcity is my new go to for pickups! Highly recommend!

I chose a complete set of VS-61s with the flat pole piece profile to replace the stock V-Mod IIs in my AmPro ii Strat. The stock pups weren’t voiced to my liking for this guitar, and their vintage stagger was throwing the string balance off. I guess Fender is constantly trying to reinvent the wheel but I just want my Strat to be a Strat. The VS-61 Pegcity set has just the voice and balance I was looking for. The set is well made, well packaged, and from Winnipeg! Get some!
