True P90 tone in a humbucker size. Built using fibre bobbin with threaded brass standoffs for individual pole adjustment. With specific components we are able to deliver a pickup with the correct output and inductance ratios required to produce those P90 tones that we all know and love but in the much smaller overall size to fit your humbucker routing dimensions of your guitar.

The standard magnet is Alnico 5 or for vintage tone Alnico 3. However you can choose to use A2, A4, A6, or even the Queen mother Alnico 8. Email kris@pegcitypickups.com if you want or need some help deciding on your magnet or follow the “Learn more about pickups” button on the home page.

Fantastic sounding pickups. I put these in an SG and it absolutely sings. Alnico 4's sound so crisp and warm and the quality of the pups seem to be nope notch. Great price for tailor-made, Canadian craftmanship. A++ !!!

A good choice.

I chose this HB sized P90 to replace a Dimarzio 36th Anniversary in the neck position of one of my guitars. The Dimarzio is a great humbucker, but for some reason I never felt like playing this particular guitar. I took a chance on the Peg City P90, and I’m so much happier with the guitar. I’m playing it all the time now, and loving it. There is no one right answer for pickup choices, but in this situation the Peg City HB sized P90 turned out to be an excellent decision. Thanks, Kris!

Fantastic pickup!

The build quality alone is A++. This humbucker sized p90. I went with an Alnico 3, paired with their 54 strat pickups. Perfect combo. These are a great deal and much better than anything you will get for the same price.

Fantastic sound! Superb flexibility, very impressed. Now considering replacing EMG pickups in 3 Stratocasters…

TC204 set on 2006 Fender Tele (USA) with Bzzzzkill

The tones that the TC204 produce are quite remarkable. The differences of tones these pickups give when playing through a clean amp brings additional midrange frequencies which give an added ‘maturity’. In other words I’m really liking what I’m hearing and am having a hard time putting my instrument down. This guitar was also used for beta testing the new Bzzzkill. A 60hz noise cancelling device for single coil pickups. (Check it out on socual media)

Awesome alternative rock sound

Love these. Mostly play things ranging from funk rock to grunge and these cover all my bases.

Don't give your money to massive companies, give it to a guy who cares.

Great pickups as always!

This is not my first order from here, they always deliver fantastic quality pickups that sound great. This alnico 2 p90 is pure p90 tone. Gets dirty when you want it to be, and cleans up when you want it to. Very articulate as well. One of the better p90's I've tried.

The Covers that changed the style

When I picked out these pickups, I picked out some pickup covers that would make the guitar look cool. The radiator covers with the gold foil just made this vintage colored guitar look fantastic. I couldn't be happier!
